In Italy, Christian and Manuel Weber have found a manufactory that believes in automation and efficiency just as little as the two founders of the brand. Let's rave about the details of this artistic work: The small stand-up collar is adorned with piping in hunter's linen. The breast pocket is blind, so you can't see any seams from the outside.
The two XX cross-stitches, the discreet signature of the brand, are sewn by hand. The inside of the shirt is a dream: only French seams, with the raw edge sewn inwards. An overlock seam that can be done automatically is cheaper - but who wants the inferior quality when you can have a Weber+Weber shirt whose inside seams are finished by hand?
However, this effort also has an aesthetic reason: overlock seams would show through. The noble overall impression of the Linen Collar Shirt is completed by the shoulder seam with a Petina stitch and the freshwater mother-of-pearl buttons.
