WEBER+WEBER jackets + coats

Durable, timeless and functional, jackets and coats for women and men from slow fashion brand WEBER+WEBER are a dependable choice for many years of outdoor wear. The outdoor collections from Christian and Manuel Weber are defined by models that appear year after year. Blazers and gilets in traditional Alpine jacket style with standing collar are the signature pieces of a brand that is successfully committed to doing things differently.

WEBER+WEBER Sartoria uses the finest merino shearling to make the classic shearling coat 'Light Shearling Coat'. To satisfy the duo's sustainability requirements, the shearling comes from animals kept within Europe. The deliberate lack of a drawstring at the waist gives this winter coat a loose fit so it still offers enough freedom of movement even when worn with a thicker jumper or lightweight blazer. Dependably warm, this elegant coat is a popular classic, especially during the colder months. It comes in muted colours like blue and grey. Along with black, these are the tones mainly used by WEBER+WEBER for their collections. The colours make this long sleeve coat a versatile essential. In addition to this fine material, the collections mainly consist of items in ‘boiled wool' – the brand's signature material. It's called 'Travel' and contains microfibre. This innovative fabric is redeveloped with each season. Boiling the wool shrinks it, gives the surface a subtle shimmer and enhances the positive qualities for a crease, dirt, odour and water resistant coat.
The unlined 'Timeless Travel' models are all defined by this unique material. A loose silhouette makes layering options possible – without you having to choose a bigger size. The wool coat is enhanced with genuine horn buttons, the two signature cross stitches on the collar and subtle feather stitching. Along with the classic lapel collar, the iconic standing collar that defines WEBER+WEBER blazers is an essential design detail of the jackets and coats from the Austrian brand. Unusually, the 'Authentic Wool Coat' doesn't have a lining. It's a short, fitted wool coat with an elegant Petina seam in a timeless design that enhances every man's wardrobe.

A coat with a faux for collar?

The 'Vintage Wool Coat' by WEBER+WEBER is a fashionable coat with a faux fur collar that easily detaches or buttons onto the inside of the collar, just like a detachable hood. The soft merino fur trim protects against cold and wind. This model in a mix of materials exemplifies the label's 'Unsuited' philosophy. Piece-dyeing gives it an effortless look that is enhanced by the model's dark colour. The dye works Tintoria Emiliana in northern Italy is responsible for creating this special look. It's also where big names like Stone Island have their outdoor jackets and more dyed. The coat doesn't have a hood, but the adjustable collar offers maximum styling flexibility. Varnished corozo buttons and the warm lining add the finishing touch to this winter coat. With its warm lining and practical knee length, the 'Vintage Wool Coat' can compete with any outdoor jacket.

Transitional jackets or coats are essential for the time before you need sleeveless styles. During the milder winter months or the transition to spring, coats, winter jackets, quilted jackets, quilted coats, quilted gilets, parkas and padded trench coats make way for lighter outdoor jackets from the WEBER+WEBER collection. These include the pea coat 'Knit Travel Peacoat' or the 'Travel Padded Overshirt' – a jacket/long sleeve shirt hybrid with a sporty blouson appearance. Style with jeans or trousers for the perfect understated WEBER+WEBER look. The label's designers have also given the denim jacket an unconventional reinterpretation in an overshirt design and Italian-made denim. Other jackets in recycled wool or soft lambskin suede are based on the workwear-inspired design. The leather for this long sleeve hybrid jacket comes from shepherds in Italy or Spain. It's dyed exclusively according to the highest European standards and the tanning is chrome free.

Like all clothing from WEBER+WEBER Sartoria, the men's jackets and coats are painstakingly made in a small factory in northern Italy by skilled tailors. You can find the results of their craftsmanship in your size in the WEBER+WEBER online shop.
